The practice includes child and adult health care. Dr. Randall Neustaedter is a primary health care provider who has practiced homeopathy and traditional Chinese medicine for over 25 years, specializing in child health. He provides well-baby check-ups, acute care, and consultation about chronic conditions.

The focus of health care at Classical Medicine Center is always to strengthen the patient by stimulating and reinforcing the innate healing ability of the body. The goal is an increased state of health with a fortified immune system.

My approach is to encourage healing, and help to provide children with the healthiest and most well -balanced bodies possible, so that they can achieve their highest potential. I try to make children's medical care consistently educational and directed toward prevention. I use natural treatments whenever possible. This avoids side effects of medications, and works to strengthen the immune system and prevent recurrences of illness.

It is important that parents understand each child's individual needs. My participation consists of helping parents to learn about the unique combination of personality, temperament, body function skills, and talents that each child possesses. I am especially interested in understanding the individual learning styles and interests of a child. If parents understand their child, they well be better equipped to provide the best possible environment for healthy development. The ideal is to prevent problems by creating a fertile ground for learning and growth.

Every child is entitled to the healthiest body possible. Treatment that I initiate is always intended to create greater balance and harmony in the child. This is true for acute illnesses, where the goal is to relieve symptoms and raise resistance, as well as for chronic problems where longterm improvement is sought. When treatment is indicated I will usually prescribe homeopthic medicines or herbs. Both will work by stimulating a natural healing response in the body to both cure current symptoms and prevent future problems.

Insurance

All insurance companies offer policies that cover visits to the office. To find out if your policy will cover care call your 800 number and ask if your policy covers acupuncture. Dr. Neustaedter is a network provider for Aetna, Cigna, Great West, United HealthCare, HealthNet, Principal, Admar and several other plans. The office will check your eligibility for coverage and bill your insurance provider.
